PartyGaming and Playtech strike deal
A press release on PartyGaming’s website announced a four-year software licensing agreement with Playtech, the world’s largest publicly traded online software provider. Playtech will supply software for gaming websites that Party Gaming agreed to purchase for $72 million in shares from Empire Online and Intercontinental Online Gaming.
This comes after PartyGaming claim they have satisfied the software licensing condition applicable to the agreed acquisitions of the assets, players and gaming related contracts associated with Empire Online Limited’s gaming business, and of Intercontinental Online Gaming’s business and assets.
