EPT London – UPDATE

Joseph Mouawad from Lebanon was the winner of the latest EPT event in London. Mouawad who is a property developer from Beirut won a record first prize of £611,500.

The father of three also won a seat at the €10,000 EPT Grand Final set to take place in Monte Carlo next April.

Heads-up between the last two men standing lasted less than an hour. The final hand saw Florian Langmann’s 2 pairs; 8’s and 9’s get crushed by Mouawad’s three Queens.

Another record for an EPT event was the fact that 4 players made it to the final table out of 60 that qualified online from Poker Stars.

October is set to be a great month with 2 more EPT events coming up. The next EPT event is the Baden Classic in Austria, from October 7th-10th with the EPT in Dublin taking place October 30th to November 3rd.
