Weekend in Review – Poker Stars, Full Tilt and Party Poker
No major live events distracted online poker players this weekend and the top three poker rooms had no overlays during their Sunday Guaranteed Tournaments.
As always top of the pile was the Sunday Million at Poker Stars with 6,366 players and a huge prize pool of $1,273.200. 900 players were paid. The winner would normally receive just over $183k, but with Poker Stars giving the last 2 players the chance to come to a deal, the winner, Pairofnothin won the event and took home $140,448.84 to ClubbedBoat’s second place $138,000.
Over at Full Tilt 3,806 players took part at the $750,000 Guaranteed Tournament and created a $761,200 prize pool with 522 players getting paid. First place went to gagillionaire who received $134,770.46 and second place Jubbley took home $81,448.40.
