European Poker Tour Deauville winner
After four days of grueling poker action Mats Iremark has emerged the victor of the European Poker Tour’s French Open held in Deauville, France.
Beating the 434-strong player pool the unknown Iremark also defeated top names in the professional poker world including Marcel ‘The Flying Dutchman’ Luske, the Hendon Mob’s Ram Vaswani, Isabelle ‘No Mercy’ Mercier and 2004 World Series of Poker champion Greg ‘Fossilman’ Raymer. Although Mercier and Vaswani managed to finish in top positions Luske finished early on in the competition and Raymer was the very first player to go out.
For his €4000 buy-in Iremark takes home an impressive €480,000 and a €10,000 seat at the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo in March.
